Where do the puppies attending the sessions come from?

All puppies attending the sessions at The Pup Club are owned by their breeders. We do not own, breed, sell or keep any animals. Each litter has a home visit before attending to ensure they are being raised in a safe, loving and healthy environment. 

Is this safe for the puppies attending?

Yes – the sessions are carefully structured with the puppies welfare as the top priority. The puppies attending have plenty of rest and quiet time between sessions, constant access to fresh water and are fed by their owners as needed to fit their usual feeding schedule. All interaction is gentle, optional and led by the puppies themselves. These sessions provide positive, controlled socialisation which is hugely beneficial for puppies at this important stage of their development. 

What rules are in place to ensure cleanliness and safety?

All equipment is thoroughly cleaned between litters using veterinary-approved cleaners. Before entering the puppy pen, all guests are required to remove their shoes and sanitise their hands (with the puppy safe hand sanitiser that is provided). A short safety briefing is given at the start of each session to ensure everyone knows how to interact gently and responsibly with the puppies.

How many people are in each session?

Sessions are kept small to create a calm, relaxed environment for both the people and the puppies attending. We ensure there are no more than two people per puppy attending. 

What should I wear to the session?

Comfortable clothing is recommended! We provide blankets to help you feel cosy and protect your clothing. 

Can children attend the sessions?

Yes. Children over 5 are welcome and must be supervised at all times to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for both the puppies and guests attending the session. They must be able to remain seated throughout the duration of the session and follow all instructions given by the session hosts. All children under 16 must be accompanied in the pen by a paying adult, one adult can accompany up to two children.
